"The revenge of the huge worm, or the agony of a fisherman".

It has been a long time since I wanted to begin the sculpture, and the sixth VIP gave me the opportunity.Indeed, to sculpture an invertebrate appeared to me to be rather easy. I thought at first of a snake suffocating a human victim, but the idea was not very original (and could already have been produced).

I then thought of a worm...... yes! these poor tortured worms, crucified, impaled on murderous fishhooks! It seemed to me just that a worm takes its revenge. My girlfriend put at first in image my wild imaginings and I ran to buy some "Fimo". The difficult was to sculpture hands and to begin again the worm after an error of cooking (Grrrr). I had no time to finish the fishing rod (the reel will be to improve, the thread of fishing will be to be fixed, and add the fishhook). I hope that this concept will please you (thanks to Nini for its drawing and to the friends of creafigs for their advices)

And thanks to Dominic.....If I began the sculpture, it's of your fault! :-)

Wow, nice hand, and great worm. I like the outstretched hand
better than the fishpol hand, although, of course, I get the
fishpole joke. My only question is how the worm is hiding so
much of the man? Still, hilarious piece.

Very funny concept! If this is big enough you could probably
sell it commercially to fishermen who would never otherwise
consider purchasing miniature sculpture. I assume the pole needs
a string on the end to complete it, and this can't be done right
with putty. However, it also needs some rings for the line,
running down the length of it and a reel of some kind at the end
- these you can and should sculpt on. The worm is great - dead
on! I am not bothered by the fact that a fisherman with a hand
that size could not be covered by a worm that size...the joke is
the point and the point has been made!
P.S., I think you were correct to delete the second hand shown in
the cartoon - it would just look garish and does not enhance the
story told by the piece.

Worm: The worm looks great.
This is too funny. I’ll have to show this to my son.

This reminds me of the night crawler worms that I use to dig up
as a kid. Great job on the accuracy of the worm.
The weak part of the figure is the hand and fishing rod. Adding
more detail would really enhance the overall look.
